How to talk to a supplier of aluminum molds?

When talking to a potential supplier of aluminum molds, it is also worth knowing that these packaging are made of different foil thicknesses. The thicker the material, the stronger the packaging, but also more expensive. Small molds, especially round ones, can be made of, for example, foil less than 30 micrometers (1 micrometer = 0,001 millimeters), and larger ones are usually made of foil with a thickness between 50 and 70 micrometers, and in some cases even above 300 micrometers. Another important thing when choosing a mold is to determine the external and internal dimensions and capacity. Most manufacturers of aluminum molds have a very wide range of models, but you also need to know that constructing new ones that can help your product stand out on the market is not an easy thing. The difficulty, as is often the case, is related to the cost of producing a new pattern, or more precisely, the production of a new mold, the price of which may range from several to several thousand euros. However, it may be much easier to personalize the molds produced by making an individual pattern, e.g. on the bottom of the mold. In this case, you can consider making an appropriate overlay on the existing mold, the price of which is not as high as the mold itself.

The products manufactured are not only packaging, because, for example, Cuki Alfatec from aluminum also produces excellent quality, beautiful platters and disposable tableware such as plates and coasters.

The entire offer of aluminum packaging manufacturers, including ours, is also complemented by molds intended for the HoReCa industry for use in ready-made meals sold for takeaway.

Another thing worth asking about the manufacturer of packaging, especially those used for food, is the issue of having an appropriate production control system thanks to which we will be able to track production batches from the moment of their production, through storage, to delivery. Food quality and safety must also be ensured through the use of packaging manufactured and distributed to the highest standards.

The structure of aluminum in the packaging ensures that food does not stick to the walls, especially during thermal processing, but it is also worth knowing that, if necessary, the molds can be laminated from the inside or protected in another way to ensure the proper effect of the finished product after the thermal process.

The packaging itself is now becoming more important from the point of view of ensuring safe food distribution, because the sale of e.g. bread baked in a disposable tin and offered to the customer in it can reduce accidental and undesirable direct contact with this type of food product.

We encourage you to look for solutions together and we remain open to contact and questions.
